Positive News 17th December 2008
We have had some really fantastic news!
Our old colleague Katherine Peak (formerly a corporate finance lawyer at Addleshaws and then a successful legal recruitment consultant) and her husband Richard have finally heard that they have passed all their checks and reports and that they have been given the all clear to adopt. It has been inspirational watching the time and effort this pair have put into the adoption process, Katherine for example has given up recruitment and has been working in nurseries and primary schools. We can’t think of anyone better suited to be parents and we know they are going to have great fun this Christmas getting two bedrooms prepared. It must be admitted that several bottles of wine have been sunk by Alison and I, to help them celebrate. Congratulations!
